The problem

A human hairdryer is too hot and too loud for a dog, and it only dries. So the routine is towel, wait, brush, wait, brush again — while a damp dog rolls on your carpet and the loose undercoat ends up on the sofa instead of in a brush.

Questions

Is it too hot for my dog's skin?
It has built-in temperature control and three settings. Use the lowest that dries in reasonable time, and keep it moving rather than holding it in one spot.

Will my dog tolerate the noise?
It is quieter than a hairdryer, which is the usual comparison. Introduce it switched on across the room before you use it on them.

Does it replace a brush?
For drying days, largely. Our self-cleaning brush is still better for a dry coat between baths.
